Question 1 - In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?

In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?

One convention which continually appears in horror opening sequences is the use of a distribution and production logo. A production logo is the company which produce the film for example "Lionsgate" and a distribution logo is the company that takes the film to the audience for example "Twentieth Century Fox".

Another convention which has "steadfast loyalty" to horror opening sequences is titles. Titles continue throughout horror opening sequences usually because they help the audience get a gist of what the film is going to be about. Our opening sequence develops the use of titles because our group have used the rule of thirds this means that there is nearly always great sufficient space in shots to insert titles into.

Below is screenshot examples of the titles we used in our opening sequence to Final Warning.
