Question 3 - What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why? Part two

What Kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?

Our film is called "Final Warning" its conventions are very similar to the horror genre making it a horror film.

Our films distributor is "Paramount Pictures", it is much-publicized, prominent and greatly reputed around the world as it being consistently ranked as one of the largest growing film studios. "Paramount Pictures" don't specialise in any particular genre, however some of the greatest horror movies have been distributed by them; for example "Friday the 13th". Generally most films distributed by paramount pictures don't take much time to reach fruition.

Our films production company is named "Clockwork Productions" in reason of the film is time orientated, this essentially means how long will it take until the killer will stop killing defenceless victims? This is dependant upon either until he has given up or has been caught. In our opening sequence the audience are shown two teenagers besieged by the killer. I personally believe that the idea of our film being time orientated is brilliant because it builds involuntary tension.

The most suitable media institution would be sky because they have designated channels for horror movies.  However the content wouldn't be suitable for the BBC, and in terms of ITV the film would be to modern for their specifications.
